Massage Therapy

Touch was never meant to be a luxury. It is a basic human need. It is an action that validates life and gives hope to both the receiver and the giver
— Irene Smith
Your body’s ability to heal is greater than anyone has permitted you to believe.

Massage therapy was my second big step into the healing arts and a natural extension from what I had already begun to learn and understand through my yoga practice and teaching. I attended the wonderful East West College of the Healing Arts in Portland, OR and focused mainly on Structural Bodywork, Deep Tissue Massage, and Traditional Thai Massage. My current practice is a reflection of what i learned in school as well as my continued understanding of the body and it's many nuances. I also incorporate Fascial Abrasion Technique and Myofascial Release Techniques as appropriate. I also offer compassionate and therapeutic Pre-Natal and Post-Natal massage. I am passionate about working with athletes of all levels, chronic pain, injuries, or injury prevention, and expecting mothers. I firmly believe that massage therapy is not a luxury but a necessity to our busy lives and strive to maintain its accessibility to my clients.
